Anna Maria Brandys graduated from the Faculty of Painting of the University of the Fine Arts Poznań (2011) and in 2015 she graduated from the Faculty of Art-therapy of the Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw, Poland. She has been a recipient of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Grant and the City of Poznań Grant. She has participated in many prestigious exhibitions in Poland and abroad. She works with broadly defined artistic textile. Currently, she is in the middle of preparing her dissertation in the Faculty of Sculpture and Spatial Projects of the University of the Fine Arts Poznań. Founder of the ”Jak Malowana” Foundation and co-author of the ”Dom Bajek” project. For many years she has been engaged in volunteering, educational programmes and art therapy programmes. She collaborates with the Natural Dyeing Laboratory in the Natural Art in the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants in Poznań.
