Małgorzata Matuszewska graduated from the Faculty of Textile and Fashion Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland with a degree in the Experimental Textile Studio under the tuition of dr hab. Lidia Choczaj in 2012. She works with unique textile, objects, spacial activities and designs jewellery. Małgorzata is also focused on a pedagogical activity. She was awarded in numerous exhibitions and contests, including the 11^th Polish National exhibition of Miniature Textile in Łódź (2016); the “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno (2014 – 1^st Prize and the AKAPI Foundation Award; 2016); the 1^st ARS DZIKOVENSIS – Salix International Open Air Painting Session in Tarnobrzeg, Poland (2014); the “Wiklina in Arboretum” International Open Air Wicker Art Session and Open Air Exhibition in Bolestraszyce, Poland (2014, 2015); the 9^th Triennial of Small Painting Forms in Toruń, Poland (2013); the 12^th Polish National Exhibition of the Unique Textile in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź – Grand Prix (2013); the National Goldsmith Art Competition in Warsaw – Grand Prix (2009); the “Golden Thread” 17^th International Contest for Fashion Designers at the Fashion Week Poland in Łódź (2008); the “Złote kreacje. Jubileusz 50-lecia sztuki projektowania ASP w Łodzi” exhibition of jewellery in Łódź, Poland (2008); the “Trans-tkanina. W kręgu tkaniny PWSSP i ASP w Łodzi” exhibition in the City Art Gallery, Centre of Art Promotion in Łódź, Poland (2007); and the “Holownia” exhibition at the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER 2007 in the Helena Modrzejewska Theatre in Legnica, Poland.
