Krystyna Grzybek was born in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and graduated from the Artistic Department at the Faculty of Interior Design of the Higher School of Social Skills in Poznań with an honours degree in 2010. She works with design, operations in the sphere of painting, collage and artistic textile. Krystyna has been a participant of: the “Strefa koloru. Malarstwo i witraż” exhibition held by The Museum of Crafts, Piwnica PodCieniami Gallery, Krosno, Poland in 2009; the 6th and 7th “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in 2010 and 2012, where she was awarded in the debutant category in 2010; the Bureau for Art Exhibitions, Leszno in 2011; the “W stronę koloru” exhibition at the Cultural Centre, Chemist’s House in Puławy in 2011; a solo exhibition at The Museum of Crafts, Piwnica PodCieniami Gallery, Krosno, in 2011. Additionally, Krystyna has held solo exhibitions in 2012 at Puławy, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Bardejov in Słowacja, Bydgoszcz and Lublin. Recently, she exhibited at the 9th International Baltic Triennial of Miniature Textiles, Gdynia and in Szymbark in 2013.
