Biography:

Volodymyra Gurska was born in 1952 and graduated from Department of Textile at The Lvov

 

National Academy of Arts. She belongs to the Ukrainian Visual Artists Union. Volodymyra has participated in many exhibitions and from 1997 has worked with children in the Children's Folk Art School in Lvov. She uses innovative and creative techniques for spreading knowledge and connects these techniques with the teaching of folk art. Volodymyra encourages the children’s creativity ensuring a realization of their potential.
