Krystyna Jankowska was born and still resides in Koszalin. She graduated from the Higher School of Social Skills in Poznań with an honours degree in 2009 under the tuition of Prof. Wojciech Sadley in the Faculty of Stained Glass and the additional faculty in Easel Painting. She works with easel painting, silk painting and artistic textiles. Krystyna is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP). Her exhibitions include: the 9th and 10th Polish National Exhibition of Miniature Textiles at the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź in 2010 and 2013; the 9th and 10th International Baltic Triennial of Miniature Textiles in Gdynia in 2010 and 2013; the 6th and 7th “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial held by The Museum of Crafts in Krosno where she was awarded a honourable mention and the “Akapi” Foundation Prize in 2012; “Strefa koloru. Malarstwo i witraż” exhibition held by The Museum of Crafts, PodCieniami Gallery, Krosno, Poland in 2009; the “Przestrzeń koloru” exhibition at the Bureau of Artistic Exhibitions in Leszno in 2011; “W stronę koloru” exhibition at the Cultural Centre in Puławy in 2012; “Profesor Wojciech Sadley i jego uczniowie” exhibition at the Jan Dekert Lubuskie Museum in Gorzów Wielkopolski in 2012; „Wystawa Okręgu Koszalińsko-Słupskiego z okazji 100-lecia ZPAP”exhibition at the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Kołobrzeg in 2012; “Postawy Roku 2011-2012: Okręg Koszalińsko-Słupski” exhibition at the Museum of Koszalin in 2012; the “Metafizyka obrazu” solo exhibition at the Ratusz Gallery in Koszalin in 2013; the 12th All-Polish Exhibition of Unique Textiles at the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź in 2013; “Mistrz i jego uczniowie” exhibition at Karwancjanie Family and Gładyszowie Family Manor House Museum in Gorlice in 2013; and “Jesienne niebo” solo exhibition at the Association of Polish Artists and Designers Gallery in Gdańsk in 2013.
