Biography:
Bogumiła Klaudel-Rezler graduated from the Higher School of Applied Arts in Poznań with a degree in Painting on Textile, under the tuition of prof. Wojciech Sadley in 2003. She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers in the Warsaw district. She works with easel painting, textile painting and artistic textiles. She has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. The most important are: the “Sacrum” 11th Sacral Art Biennial in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland in 2004; the “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial held by the Museum of Crafts in Krosno in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014; the “Sztuka Włókna” exhibition in 2004, 2007, 2010, and 2016; the “Art for Peace” International Exhibition in Serbia, Russia, and Italy in 2006 and 2007; the 5th and 6th Konfrontacje Artystyczne “Sacrum w sztuce” project in Wadowice, Poland in 2006 and 2007; the Baltic Textile Triennial in Gdańsk in 2007; the “Między Niemnem a Wisłą” Association of Polish Artists and Designers –Warsaw District exhibition of paintings in Lithuania in 2012; the “Inspiracje” 1st Silk Painting Biennial in Milanówek, Poland, in 2014; and the „Varsovia Semper Invicta. Pamięć i nadzieja” exhibition on the 70th Anniversary of Warsaw Uprising in Warsaw in 2014. Her artworks can be found in museum collections and private collections in Poland and abroad.
